I got great value for my money at Sony Home Stay in Amed. The room had a fine sea view and a comfortable bed. The hotel's location, just a 2-minute walk to the beach, was perfect. The staff, especially Sony and his family, were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
The food for breakfast could have been improved with more variety and options.

Centrally located and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The room was spacious and cleaned daily. The private balcony was a nice touch, with comfortable seating and a table. The simple breakfast included in the price was a convenient perk. Additionally, the owner provided excellent massage services.
If you require air conditioning, this may not be the best option as only fans are available.

The hotel is located in front of the beach, just a few steps away from the black sandy shore. the room is clean and cozy, providing a comfortable stay. the service offered by the host is exceptional, with helpful tips and assistance throughout the stay. Breakfast is served on the beautiful and peaceful beach, creating a serene atmosphere. the stunning views of the volcano and ocean can be enjoyed from the rooftop lounge, making it a perfect spot to relax.
The construction work happening nearby caused noise disturbances, which could have been informed in advance.

I had a wonderful stay at a lovely homestay in Amed. The owner, Sony, was helpful and friendly. He made me feel right at home. The room and bathroom weresuper clean and cozy, and I especially enjoyed the balcony and rooftop area with its amazing view of Mount Agung and the ocean. The complimentary breakfast served at a cozy warung on the beach was delicious. The location was perfect, with plenty of nearby options for dining and just steps away from the beach. I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this homestay to others.

Great rooftop view of the ocean and Mt Agung. Friendly and helpful owner who gives helpful tips and can arrange tours. Delicious fish dinner. Basic rooms with ceiling fan and mosquito issue. Basic Amed-style breakfast. Relaxing rooftop pavilions with outlets. Comfortable mattress. Charming family. Free water refill after confusion. Lovely beach chairs. Sony is a wonderful host who went snorkeling with us. Sea view room was nice and clean. Beachside massages available.
